Help For Newly Qualified Pilots
As a professional Paragliding Instructor
and Coach, I'm in a position where I'm able to talk to many
students and new pilots. In the past most of them have felt
that they either left the school environment a little too
early, or that they would have liked to move on to more
advanced teaching.
I see two areas of weakness in the existing
coaching system that I can help address:
The first is when you leave the
school environment. You're obviously very nervous about
going to a club site for the first time, you don't know
anyone, you may not have flown there before and understandably
you're a bit apprehensive. You could do with someone there
to help you for the first few days.
The second is in getting tasks
witnessed and 'signed off' for your 'Pilot' rating. Plus
of course the tuition necessary to get you through the
theory so you can take your exam.
I've set up Skygypsy in order to bridge
the gap for these new pilots and to help them make the transition
from school to club a little easier. I'm based in Marlborough
in the heart of Wiltshire, which is in the south west of
England.
Skygypsy is aimed at you;
the new Pilot, to help you progress in all aspects of your
flying, whether you've just left school or are eager to
progress further up the BHPA Pilot Rating Scheme ladder.
